How to make sure noose tightens?

I plan on doing partial from a door. This is the video I have been using for the slipknot only I'll wrap mine around a couple of extra time at the base . I have to tie two scarves together as the ligature so I'll tie them together with a sheet bend unless anyone has a better suggestion. Is there a specific knot I should use to attach the scarves to the doorknob? And most importantly, how do I make sure my slipknot will tighten and not loosen?

I have the same question. I am planning full, no partial, but also with a door, and I cannot see how to close the door without breaking the rope-if it is even possible to close it. I thought I should leave the door open.
