Help How to make sure i get found without telling someone beforehand

Hey there,

I am in my final stages of my preparation, yet i still have to solve this issue.

I am very very socially distanced. No friends in the area - mostly online, family lives a couple hours away, no work, grocery shopping done online, my neighbours barely know i exist because my Apartment is in the highest floor. I barely leave it and mostly at night for trash and getting Mail. Theres 0 responsibilities for me. Finances are in order and paid automatically.

Basically i am invisible pretty much ^^

How do i make sure i will get found on the same day that i Plan to CTB? I dont want my Body to rot here and make the Apartment a disgusting smelling hell.

I assume one or more of my family members will eventually (after being notified) enter the Apartment to take care of my belongings or something like that, and i dont want this place to be unbearable in terms of smell.

My only Option that i can Think about would be to.. i dont know ... delay send an email to my social worker that visits me once or twice per week. Tell her i took my life, left spare keys under my doormat (so Police doesnt break the door) and ask her to call the Police?

I am worried that delay sending emails have Filters that check for suicide and Alert someone.

Do you guys have any other ideas?

I reckon that's probably what you should do with the delayed email. They shouldnt have such filters but you can always check it by creating a new account and sending one message to yourself.

It doesn't have to be police station. You can email an online friend to call the cops or whatever.

That wont work because they cant enter this Apartment complex without someone living here opening the house Main door.
It would require a note at my door which would risk me being found early during the night i am ctbing.

If someone Orders food and doesnt open, they will try calling and then just leave. No matter if its paid or not.

I have located a text line for mental health. I am in Ontraio, Canada. This too is a concern of mine as I do not wish to do this in my home (I have tenants that I do not want to disrupt). I found a way to send my coordinates and will send a timed text approximately 5 hours after I begin.

You can also put a letter in the mail to the police station the day you CTB telling them every thing after the mail arrives the day you do it so it doesn't get picked up until the next day. That gives you atleast 1-2 days before they show up to find you.

Like a lot of other people have said, try a delayed email or message. To the police, fire station, hospital, anywhere. Even to a friend or someone else you trust. In my experience and from what I've heard from others delayed emails are used frequently and serve the purpose you're asking about, and almost never have filters (unless perhaps you're for whatever reason on a school or work email?) on this topic. Also like others have said, mental health lines do work on a delay.

I have a similar problem and I def don't want pigs in my house as they are known for stealing.
I think a delayed email to the social worker is the best idea

If you dont mind your parents finding you, you can invite them to dinner one day after you attempt. Then leave a key somewhere and tell them before where it is. Or you could do the same thing with a coworker or friend. Probably delayed E-mail is the way to go tho.

I decided to use the cleaning Person that cleans the hallway in Front of all the Apartments in the stairwell every monday.

in order to clean in Front of the Apartment door, they move away your doormat (they make it stand against the Wall every time, so its guaranteed that the Person will look under the mat). I will put a spare key and a note under the doormat, so they will call the police.

Wow, that is very smart actually. But you need to be sure the cleaning person lifts up the doormat and the note that you write is very important because what if they dont open the door even if your note advises them to.

I will tape the note onto the floor under the mat so its really in their way and stops them from cleaning that area.

Yep thats what I meant. But what if they just dont care and throw the note away and just leave the key there.

Then the smell will unfortunately do the rest eventually @.@ i have huge trust issues with the delayed Email thingie. I really cant handle another visit to a psych ward in case someone gets alarmed early.
