• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I want to give a note to someone special to me explaining why, but I don't want to hand it to them directly and be like « wait to open it » cuz then they'd feel guilty for not looking at it sooner. But I don't want to mail it because I feel like that would be really traumatizing. Should I just leave it somewhere where they'd find it later on? Genuinely not sure. Thanks all

You can leave it under your pillow
In the drawer of your bedside table

We don't live in the same house. Right now I'm thinking maybe just leave it in their car. But honestly I'm so conflicted. I want them to know why but I also want it to be as painless as possible.

This would be risky. It could easily get lost.

You could hide the note in a place you know the police will not see (because they will poke around in your business afterwards) and then have a delayed email telling the person where to look.

Inside a book he's unlikely to read? 😂
I'm struggling with the physical note ideas myself. Not the place (I have many great options I won't share here), but what would be less traumatic, learning from the police or the note? I mean both getting a note after a police call would be awful, and getting a note and having to wait for the police. Both sound absolutely awful, which sucks less?
