I would rather walk.
I would not chance the taxi driver picking up on what was happening and calling the police

It's been a while, but I took a bus from the train station that got me a little closer so I didn't have to walk quite as far. It's not too bad of a walk from that point.

Either way, it probably wouldn't hurt to dress and act a bit like a tourist/sightseer. Bonus marks if you have a camera around your neck.

I would get a taxi as long as you come a cross as happy and not depressed so keep talking to the driver try to get a bit of history of Eastbourne and remember to tip people but there are a few video's on YouTube which show you the walk it may take a while but with summer months approaching may be just a nice walk to clear your mind.

I would walk if I lived near there. They'll be lots of police there I would think due to the lockdown and probably tell you to go home

It would take a long time to walk to Beachy head from the station! It's a long way !

There isn't a regular bus that runs froM Eastbourne to beachy head . I found this out when I attempted there in March

I ended up getting a taxi and although I wasn't subdued etc the taxi driver still reported my presence at beachy heat to the Samaritans . I didn't drink in the pub either which is also said to ring alarm bells

The taxi drops you off at the pub and then it's a couple of minutes walk to the cliff edge .

I drove! (more than 100 miles) People will walk right past you and not give a shit. Its pretty and it's cold! Wear something warm because you might be on the phone for a while. I guess the pub will be closed ATM what with the lockdown.

why would you be on the phone for a while ? Sorry I'm confused

Hi, I am wondering which method is best walk to Beachy Head from Eastbourne train station or take a taxi.

So it's an hour from the train station. Let's not get a taxi to beachy head. It'll be suspicious too. Get a taxi to a house or to a supermarket that is closer to beachy head. I've had a look on google maps and there's some houses 20 minutes away. You can come up with many excuses that youve come back home after working as a key worker or you've come to visit am ill relative. You wanna pick up some groceries so you can cook,
