this depends a lot on what part of the world you live in. you said you can't afford a psychologist versus 'i dont want to talk to a psychologist' so im assuming youre at least open to the idea of formal treatment.
i can only speak to how things work in the US so sorry if all of this is irrelevant :( we have community mental health clinics which are where lots of people go if they cant afford or access treatment otherwise. theyre government-funded so some of them completely suck and others dont. it usually has more to do with who they hire than how much money they have tbh.
seeing a doctor or a licensed therapist will go through your health insurance (or have to be paid out-of-pocket). you didnt mention how old you are so idk how likely it is that youre on your parents insurance policy or not, but if you are, they can find out that way.
sorry this is all so complicated :c people throw out that "reach out! ask for help!" sentiment a lot without even knowing how the process works and how it can be really hard for people to get help in the first place.
