How to fix your bite?

How do you fix your bite and stop your jawline from receding? I think that mine is receding and I've developed an overbite because I clench my jaw due to being anxious all the time. How do I prevent and correct this? My jaw hurts from all of the tension…

The dentist didn't say that I had an overbite though. I brought it up to them and they recommended me a mouthgard. I didn't get one though because I don't think my mom wants to spend money on one. They asked me if I grind my teeth and I don't think I do? If I do, it's probably unconscious. Does anyone have any tips to stop teeth grinding?

You need to see an orthodontist to see if you have an overbite or not, not a dentist. Orthodontists are the ones who treat issues revolving around jaw and teeth aligment, not dentists. Dentists mainly focus on oral hygiene and health, not jaw issues. I'd see an orthodontist to get their opinion if I were you.
