• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I really want to cry but I just can't. How do I cry? (Cutting isn't an option bc I'm almost 3 months clean)

I can cry by generating vivid, cute moments with a girlfriend in my head. Try it out.

Mostly I feel numb, and wish I could cry. I watch grey's anatomy lmao, gets me nearly every time (I'm very emotionally attached but it's a big commitment). Earlier I was listening to a song that reminds me of a friend who has passed, got a few tears out. Congratulations on almost 3 months clean

Difficulty in crying can be just a neurological variant that makes some people less emotional than others.

Apparent emotional insensitivity can also be the result of an emotional overload. It can be similar to a short in an electrical circuit that results in tripping a circuit breaker. The breaker prevents a situation from drawing so much power that a fire starts.

One should be careful before resetting a breaker to make sure that the situation that caused the overload has been removed. One can have an emotional reflex that causes a withdrawal. Care should be taken when attempting a reemergence on manual control.

Sometimes what helps me is to look at the bathroom mirror and talk to myself like a crazy person lol. Just look yourself in the eye and and go "I'm so miserable and my life sucks." You can mouth it out too. After a couple minutes I'll look away and start crying.

You can also try listening to your favorite sad songs. I love to listen to musicals, since certain songs can take you right back to a sad scene in a show. If you have time, you can try depressing movies too. Or those "try not to cry" challenge compilation videos on YouTube. That Thai commericial with the girl who adopts a baby she found on the street always gets me. Journalling can also help.
