• Hey Guest,

If you would still like to donate, you still can. We have more than enough funds to cover operating expenses for quite a while, so don't worry about donating if you aren't able. If you want to donate something other than what is listed, you can contact RainAndSadness.

Even after my death, I do not want to appear disfigured, naked or cut open by coroners in any research papers / on the Internet. How is this even possible that this happens to people, do relatives decide that? How common ist that and how can it be prevented?

Will a personal letter be taken into account?

I don't think this happens very often, but the best thing you can do is leave a note saying you don't want your death publicized. It really would be disrespectful if they didn't listen. Wishing you the best.

Hey, I'm studying to become a researcher. Performing research on a person's body without their consent is extremely unethical and you shouldn't have to worry about this happening to you after your death if you haven't signed anything saying you want to donate your body to science. The most that might happen is that the findings from any autopsy might be included in a study but even then they need to request permission to use that data. Take what I say with a grain of salt though as I'm still a student.
