I'm planning to catch the bus soon, however everyone in my family knows as I have had two failed attempts already this year. My psychiatric professionals are also aware.

I'm planning to catch the bus by hanging, so it's imperative my rope isn't found.

At the moment, I'm throwing them all off the scent by mentioning techniques that don't involve equipment (to avoid my stuff being searched), such as jumping.

Anyone else in a similar situation? Anyone any tips to avoid detection?

Ahh.. maybe not talk to them about suicide at all? Talking to them about your plans - even if you're faking them - will cause concern. Besides that, if you hide it in a safe place it'll be fine. Sorry to hear your past attempts didn't go as you hoped, I wish you well.

I know right. The fact we have to hide our plans from our families. Why can't they just be accepting of our choice not to live?

It's terrible that you have to live through this, unable to even be at peace with your decision to leave. The selfishness of pro-lifers and the majority of society is devastating, and actively works against the interests of suicidal people.
