You guys apparently have parents who are much more interested in what you do than mine were. I was ignored and invisible so I guess that was good in a way. I could have ordered dynamite and made a bomb and they wouldn't have noticed.

Yeah, it's important to talk about boundaries with those "nosier" parents beforehand. It's none of their business what packages or letters you receive. If it's addressed to you it's your property and only you have the right to open it. Best of luck.

When I was still living with them they although always asked where I was going or what I was doing but they nevertheless respected my privacy and never entered my room when I wasn't around or opened my mail.

If you just order it so that it gets left in the post office (not brought to your door) then you can just go to the post office whenever you want and pick it up your self instead of ur parents

It will give it to you as an option when you're at the delivery section during your order. It will say something like: to the post office or to hand (infront of your door)

SAME, I bought many things that someone in my place would only buy to ctb and no one even notices or cares.

Told my husband it was something strong to do with fixing colors on clothing and that it could be poisonous, so keep it closed and away from the cats.

It's still in the shipping box on the dryer. Just sitting there.

You can put the wrong adress (that is nearby you) so that they are forced to call you, that way you can intercept before it arrives to your house. I know this method would work for me due to previous experiences, idk how it is where you live. The source you buy from might not even request a phone number.
