How subtle is the packaging of SN?

I know that this would obviously vary depending on seller, but what are peoples experiences with what the packaging is like for SN? I ordered mine from a Ukrainian seller two days ago which has now disappeared. I'm not actually too worried about customs, as I havent seen anyone on here say they've had any problems in that respect. What I'm really worried about is the fact I've had it sent to a P.O box, and can see that in the terms and conditions it states that if I order anything 'dangerous' I will be reported to the police. Is it generally obvious that the contents of the SN package is dangerous? I cant stop worrying that I'm going to get reported :(

It depends. If you purchase the pure substance it for 'meat processing' then not as much. If you purchase it for a mysterious reason you might as well find yourself having a wellness visit by the police.

I thought the whole upside of SN was that it is legal. It's just an inorganic salt. It's not illegal to own. I wouldn't categorize that as a dangerous item.

Almost always it has on the packeging the yellow triagle symbol dangerous chemical and it says only for the production of pickles if i remember correctly .food grade also.

I got mine in a fedex package. Totally normal and not suspicious :)

When I received mine, the package had 'powder' written on it and my seller declared it as some random plastic (polypropylene).

I wouldn't worry about it. 1) anyone can use it to cure meat. 2) it's only toxic if ingested at specific concentrations-you can't make a bomb or use it to poison an apartment building.

Have a reason for purchasing it-discuss charcuterie salami and Canadian bacon meat making and pickling of vegetabkes if someone asks.

It is a chemical and chemicals can be useful as we as harmful. If someone asks tell them the useful things that can be done with SN.

Mine came in a standard yellow mailing envelope. Nothing on it about being toxic or hazardous until you actually open it.

Don't think u need to worry,. Like most have mentioned there r legitimate uses of SN , what u intend to use it for is known only to u .

i bought mine off of amazon, and it came in a plain envelope, like the yellow ones with bubble wrap on the inside. it didn't say SN anywhere on it, which is cool, because i wasn't the one to originally get the package
