Okay so I've seen people are saying you need to be heavily sedated to not start ripping the bag of even while unconcious/semi-concious. I took 10 mg Midazolam yesterday and within 10 minutes I blacked out. In the most uncomfortable position lol my back still hurts. People came knocking on my door, tried calling me several times, and I slept through it all. Usually I'm easily woken up, even by just a text message. I slept for 3 hours.

So if I took 45 mg Midazolam, and fell asleep with a plastic bag taped around my head, wouldn't that be a sure death?

To me it sounds like it could work, still I would tie my hands just to be sure..?

You'll still rip it off, you won't be able to time the unconsciousness with the air left in the bag, the bag won't give you long enough

If you try this, make sure you don't accidentally roll onto your side while half-conscious.
If it doesn't work and you wake up after a few hours laying in the same position (like on your arm), you are risking Compartment Syndrome.
Quite painful and can have longterm effects on muscles and nerves.

It's been 4 yrs and I still don't have full strength back. Also can't sleep on the right side anymore. Too painful.

Wearing a coat with one's arms pulled inside from the sleeves could do the trick as well.
I don't think anyone under deep sedation would be able to put back his arms into the sleeves and try to rip off the bag.
This is not an expert opinion.
