I bet it'll be more than the number of lives the lockdowns actually save.

And the suicides from the virus won't be 90 year olds who were already in bad health. Unlike the people who die from coronavirus.

Seeing as how the lockdowns have trashed the economy and thrown people into unemployment, it'll probably be a lot. There's already way more domestic violence because of this. Drug and alcohol use is up. Loneliness and isolation is just the beginning of the problem. When people start to run out of resources to survive, and the means to get them, I imagine things are going to get a lot worse. Especially if this lasts as long as people are saying it will. 18 months of a collapsed economy will destroy people in a society where being poor is as looked down upon as being almost sinful in itself.

The numbers will be through the roof..Most "impulsive" and "out of the blue"...When in actuality, this was just the straw that broke the proverbial "camels back".

You wont hear about them, most likely..Buried beneath the political "success" stories....And political "trashings".

May even blame it solely on the "virus",yet no one took the time to see it coming beforehand.

If you're talking about USA deaths then I would guess 22,000... World wide more like 327,000.
