Help How long would i struggle for after i hang myself? (Full suspension)

I plan on hanging myself on something like this.
How long would it take me to pass out? I know where my carotid arteries are and I guess I could try to aim for them but if I don't then it doesn't matter to me because I won't be able to un-do it once I've started. I'm around 400 pounds or 181kg so there's no way I will be able to turn back..also I don't know why but I'm scared my neck will break or might even be decapitated once I get down there. I'm gonna try to slowly climb down so I won't just drop down there.

In all the videos I've watched, the person passes out in 10-20 seconds max. After that, it's just your unconscious body struggling. Full suspension is my method too.

As long as the noose slides freely, it will tighten around your neck cutting off blood flow. You will pass out just as reversenightmare indicated about 10-20 seconds. In videos I have watched there really wasn't much of a struggle. Just some involuntary movement of arms and legs. At least in the videos I have watched the end seemed fairly quick and peaceful. Full suspension is my method.

I like your idea of slowly climbing down. In my own variant, I would have the noose at about face level, so I can just slip my head through and be off the ground without a drop.

This is the best way to hang, yes, but it's a lot more difficult to do than you'd imagine. Executioners used to spend time stretching the rope overnight to make sure it didn't even have a tiny amount of elasticity in it. If it did, the force wouldn't be enough to break the neck.
And if you don't manage to fully break the neck, you will be in absolute agony for the remaining minute of your life compared to just partial/full suspension.

If you break the neck, then yes, instant death. It's just quite difficult to do. Whereas suspension (either partial or full with no drop), while not being instant, isn't especially painful, so is imo the safer option.

You guys have me curious. Am kinda liking what I'm reading - at my worst I climbed into a tree for a very long time during lockdown... had a cable with me, wasn't sober // looking for artistry etc. I wander if it would have worked...
Please pm me a resources link if possible, have checked out partial with straps n brackets ( not sure nout that, ) and saw martial arts videos re placement info.

I am seriously considering full suspension as well. Based on videos people seen to go unconscious quickly, but it is not completely clear- they may actually be in a semi-conscious state. Though people appear to go inconscious quickly, some peeople rescued after 20 minutes have survived with no ill effects, because so often the arteries aren't cut off and the method becomes dependent on closing the windpipe. That's why people say to allow 30 minutes of not being interrupted. Do we experience pain when subconscious- that is not clear- we certainly experience fear when having a dream or nightmare. But this method has the advanteg of simplicity and a high rate of success if not interrupted, so it is a top two choice. for me.

Could be involuntary movements. I don't believe it's possible to be conscious for that long with so much pressure on ones neck.

you should fall at least 1 bis 1,5 meter with the noose around because head so you will break your neck and be immediately dead will not fidget around

Yeah I also don't think it's possible to be conscious that long with a rope tightened around your neck. 5 minutes I'd believe, if it didn't tighten properly and she was just choking but not 15.
