Will be taking diazepam before my SN to help put me to sleep quicker, just not sure how long I should wait to take the sn. I've got 20mg of diazepam, and have only ever taken 5mg a day for 5 days a few months ago so shouldn't have any tolerance
Niceone, will be doing without AE though, need to CTB as soon as possible. I'm on quetiapine albeit a low dose but can't be mixing it with meto anyway. Hope a fast will be enough

Not an expert, but I heard that benzos can sometimes take up to 2 hours to take effect, although it varies with each person.
So to be safe, perhaps you should take some 2 hours prior to SN, then take a bit more half an hour later, etc.....
example.... suppose you were taking SN at 16:00, then :
14:00 take some benzo
14:30 take some more benzo
15:00 take some more benzo
15:30 take final benzo
16:00 take SN
Note : this is just my "guess" at a method, as stated, I'm no expert....
Someone who knows more than me might say this is a bad idea, so please don't "rely" on my suggestion, but make your own assessment.....
I suppose you want to find a balance and not become so tired that you fall asleep before taking the SN.....
Although in that case you can always try again when you wake up.....

Nah. If OP only has 20mg, it would be better for the effects to hit more rapidly and suddenly that spread out like that. Spreading it like that would lower the potential peak levels of the drug in the blood, and instead increase the duration of effects and make it less sedating when SN is introduced. @Mrnobody2019
On an empty stomach, Diazepam will reach peak levels in the blood 1-2h after dosing, but you may feel sedated at the 30 minute mark so taken 30 minutes before the SN is just fine, also Diazepam retains strong effects for at least 6-8h so no worries on the technicalities. 20mg is a relatively low dose though. I would buy some OTC Diphenhydramine or Doxylamine and mix that with the Diazepam as one could easily stay awake from only 20mg Diazepam.
Or you could buy some research chemical sedatives to add on to that, since Diazepam is also a weaker benzo. If it has to be ASAP you can PM me to see what RC vendors are near you, as many RC vendors in the USA do priority 2-day shipping.
