How long fasting before SN?

I was thinking to not ctb. But, I changed my mind. I am thinking of doing it tonight. I have all the stuff with me. How long do we have to fast for the SN?

No rush on the decision to CTB! The SN will always be there if you want to feel out a couple more days :)

But ya, 8 hours is recommended based on what I've read also.
