Just look at any number of Facebook posts or Youtube videos by news organisations detailing a tragedy that affects an individual (like rape or murder) or a group of people like in Afghanistan, and you will find people laugh reacting and commenting absolute vile uninformed sh*t.

Just to be clear, I'm not talking about those who respectfully disagree while providing facts or additional relevant information.

I'm talking about the sick psychotic assholes who leave crass comments that degrade or humiliate those who are suffering even more.

Honestly, I don't engage with these hair on rat's backside pieces of flesh that call themselves human because I don't want to get banned online or trolled by their supporters. But...

This is the bottom of the barrel, filthy, excrement eaters that live in this world.

That's not humanity though is it? It's the complete lack of it. They lack any basic compassion for other humans. It's alright to be angry but it's not alright to take it out on anyone. They've earned the contempt I have for them

They're not always angry. Some are just agenda pushers or ego-pushers and others are low IQ boneheads who think they're being very smart.

most of the people are idiots. They are constantly euphoric, easily conditioned, incapable of having their own opinion; so much adsorbed by their own life and thoughts that they don't have the time to think objectively or to consider their actions and decisions in a non-subjective way. Constantly looking for accomplishing what is promoted by the society or the majority (bullying on social media included). They feel like unbreakable super-heroes and they don't care much about the mortal ones.

Ok well my post is about people in general who specifically think they know so much or they are very judgemental about others or they are just insensitive to the suffering of others. This leads to them commenting absolute garbage that in no way helps anyone and is only disrespectful.

Yes, people can be very cruel and are capable of causing lots of pain to others. When I see the things that some people do and say, it makes me ashamed to be human. There is already enough suffering in this world and people just make the world a worse place with comments like that. I am looking forward to being free from this existence.

I don't know if I believe in an afterlife but if there is one it will be very interesting to be looking in from above to see what this world will look like in 60 years time. I think it will be a very different place and not in a good way. Maybe there won't even be a world anymore. The way everything seems to be turning into movie scripts maybe there will be an apocalypse and humans will be totally wiped out. Nothing surprises me anymore. Pandemic doesn't
seem to be going away anytime soon

Billions of people still use Facebook. I don't seem them going MySpace just yet.

People can be pretty terrible, but most of them are pretty ok, just ignorant. Maybe its just my experience, a lot of people can't think objectively, and rely on the opinions of others. I don't think that's a bad thing tbh. People will believe anything if it makes people accept them because of the fundamental desire to belong. So I can't blame them for adapting other's opinions; if it makes them happy, good for them. I think also, that you can't ever know what a person's really like. Maybe its' "existential loneliness," but we're all alone and will never truly know a person. I can't know why they believe what they do, their motivations, what brings them joy, etc., so it seems pointless to jump to conclusions.
