How hard is it to get onto one of those cellphone or tv towers (w/e they are..)?

Are they surrounded by barbwire or something? How do those daredevil climbing guys get onto them?

I wouldn't have thought so. Might need a little upper body strength but other than that I would've thought it would be relatively easy
