The letter is to my violin teacher. I care about her a lot and I wanted to write something to her.
NOTE: This letter is supposed to be light hearted, I wrote it because I just wanted to tell her the things I could never say. I didn't want it to be sad.
Here it is:
"I will begin by saying I am so, so terribly sorry I went through with this. I would like to say some things before I go, though. I never got to talk to you a lot due to my stupid anxiety. Here are some things about me: My favorite color is yellow. I am French. Bonjour, Oui je connais un peu le Français. I love to watch old movies from the 80's and 90's. I've seen "When Harry met Sally" several times, the most is about 3 times in a month. I love tea, my favorite is Earl Grey and Black Chai. My favorite thing to do is read about composers and their lives. I wanted to be a violinist and study musicology, but I suppose I never followed through with my dreams. My favorite quote is one from Tchaikovsky, "To regret the past, to hope in the future, and to never be satisfied with the present: that is what I spend my whole life doing". I'm sorry, I've said enough about me. I am rather selfish. I think you are the loveliest person I've ever met, and I can say that with confidence. You are considerate. You are kind. You made me smile nearly everyday. I love how you know so much about classical music, I feel like less of a loser because of that. You are genuinely just a warm, kind, welcoming person. I will miss you greatly.
