I never got myself to pass out when practicing so at this point I'm winging it. I know that your vision goes black and you get dizzy, but are those the only signs that partial is working? I've read about people who feel sharp pains in their necks or get a headache or it feels like blood is rushing in their head. Is that a sign of doing it right or wrong?

Also, according to the numerous threads I have read about this, it takes 10-15 seconds to pass out and 20-30 minutes to die, correct?

Just doing some last minute research.

thanks in advance <3

I've never tried partial, but I have a choking fetish, so I'm familiar with the feeling

I big hint is if you start getting pins and needles in your extremities (I mostly get it in my hands). If done right, you'll still feel the pins and needles even after you stopped hanging yourself. Also, your muscles go limp.

When my ex boyfriend would blood choke me, I could barely even lift my arm, let alone give any force at pushing him off..This is what makes practicing hanging yourself so dangerous...Even if you try to stop, you physically can't move your muscles to pick yourself up...so the practice becomes real

We would often joke that it would be so easy for him to kill me like that. And I wouldn't be able to do a single thing to stop him.

Yes I've seen it many times. I have tried replicating exactly what the woman in the video is doing, with no results. All I felt was being unable to breath. I did position 3 from this chart due to how much space I had where I was hanging. 4F02BD0C 9654 487D 980D 845E6E86C463

To my understanding it should feel like a blood choke. I'm sure you can find videos on the Internet of some martial art guys practicing it on themselves. It looks peaceful to me, knocked out way before real damage happens.
