I'm wondering where I could commit suicide without someone stumbling across my body. It's one of my biggest fears is causing a commotion.

You don't, a body will always be found.

Not being found is probably a bigger commotion with search parties etc.

Ideally you want law enforcement or paramedics to come across your body as soon as possible but that's just my opinion. If you're in a state of serious decomposition and somebody does happen to stumble across you in the middle of nowhere it could be a lot worse for everyone.

If I stumbled across a corpse that had its eyeballs eaten out and chunks bitten out of it by wildlife I'd be even more traumatized lol. My plan if I choose SN is to send an automated text message a day after my CTB date to a non emergency number with the area and directions to where I'm doing it

I can't help but disagree with @notforl0ng I personally, if it ever came to that, would prefer to have my body never found (or at least for some time.) I wouldn't want to burden people around me with my decision, if I disappeared they would have their theories but that would be just, theories. I'd like my body to be found many many years later, long after everyone forgot about me. That would make that much easier for everyone involved.

After thinking and rethinkg on this issue, i foun that the best scenario is to give acess of your body to your beloved ones as soon as you are dead. Example: CTB in a hotel. Unfortunately nowadays its almost impossible to hide your body forever and sooner r later ur family will find it so better it be in a good fresh state rather than a decomposed one.

It would be hard to pull off: burial deep at sea, perform spontaneous combustion, šŸ„µ or disappear into a national park with lots of bears?

But putting that sort-of-kidding aside, I agree - best thing is to try to have your body found by someone who's trained.

something i used to think of is going deep into some forest. there is a pretty much nonexistent chance somebody will find you, if you just walk for long enough.

If you head deep into some wilderness area, there is a good chance your body would never be found. Best to choose an area that is rarely visited, even by keen outdoors people, and that has fairly dense tree cover.

Same for me.

1) If you jump into a river or lake with some weight tied to your body then it's likely that your body will not be found, at least for some period.
2) If you dig some hole somewhere in the forest then it's likely that your body will not be discovered because the hole will be filled again with soil either by rain or some other natural phenomena.
3) If you go to a snowy mountain and dig a hole to for yourself in the snow then it's likely that your body will not easily be discovered because the snow will fill the hole but it will take a long time for your body to be decomposed.
Remember to choose a place where nobody else could think of. And don't leave any clue behind.

I'd say probably by drowning one way or another. In the ocean your body's likely just gonna be washed away.
Also there seem to be a lot of people who have vanished by driving into rivers or lakes, at least there is a YouTube channel that finds dead people in their cars in rivers and lakes.

I'm estranged from my biological family & don't want them involved in my death. If t hey're notified of my death, they'll bury me in the family plot, directly on top of my maternal grandfather who raped me when I was a child, & I don't want that. What can I do to keep the from being involved?

I'm also afraid of being buried near or by family. i wish there was a way to legally cut ties off so such things couldn't happen. Maybe I'll write a will.

That was my dream, not to be found. Unfortunately, nowadays its almost imposible to hide your body so it's better to facilitate things for all involved and just CTB a a chain hotel.

Well if you jump off a tall building with no ID on you they might not be able to identify your body.

Nowadays there are cameras everywhere, specially in a tall building.

You don't, unless you drown yourself in the deep sea ocean or gets eaten by animals before getting found.

It depends on where you live, your geography, and your access to a car.

My plan to never be found is to drive very, very far away, to the atlantic coast of europe, and use some method of SN plus drowning plus heavy sedation at an extremely very remote cliff area where I will jump and just float and swim until my body shuts down on me and hopefully, so i can just disappear into the atlantic.

Another plan I have to never be found is to travel far far far away, into east desolate Russia, or maybe Ukraine (Thanks to my rare passport, i can enter both countries) and do it there, somewhere very secluded, or perhaps get myself shot my a soldier at the front lines. (I know that is a fantasy insanely difficult to fulfill) But that theoretically would allow me to, even if i am be found, remain completely anonymous because I will have left my documents very very far away. and they would absolutely have no resources to try to even attempt to identify me, let alone inform authorities of the country where I have residence. It is not the ideal one, but at the very least those who find me will not be traumatised because they have seen much much worse, and nobody will ever really know what has happened to me.
