I don't believe in me

Write your thoughts in a non-religious perspective.
I personally have no idea, but I don't think there will be damnation for suicide. I just hope there is no life after death. I want it to be like sleeping, but without dreams. There is no time, no sound, no anything...

I think no matter how we die it will happen and we will all have the same outcome..... We will be dead, just gone and life will continue on....

From a non religious perspective I think we just carry on. I believe consciousness can exist without the body. There have been huge advances in science and they're very close to proving this to be the case.

Interesting theory about these microtubules.
But I don't see how consciousness can exist without brain if according to this theory it derives from microtubules which are physical part of the neurons.
Even if there any quantum process is going on, it's not proving that consciousness is not stopping after death either.
Imagine a quantum computer, what happens if you power it off? It will just stop functioning.
Quantum physics is not magic, it's just conflicting with classic physics and relativity theory.

I am not sure what I am taking about though :)

I believe in eternal nothingness for everyone but if there was an afterlife I'd say people who commited suicide would be provided with eternal bliss and peacefulness at best and only midly scolded at worst. It makes no sense that someone who ctb suffers in afterlife as much as a rapist or a murderer.

Nonexistence would be good but it's not something you really experience. Deep down I want there to be a wonderful place that's the exact opposite of the world we live in right now. I think I deserve better than the "void" and so do many others that have suffered a traumatic life. I'm not religious at all but I'd still like to think that there is a place where nobody gets sick or old, where money doesn't matter, everyone has a home, and that everyone will find someone to love that won't abandon them. I'm skeptical of there being such a place but I want it more than anything and I'm so sick of living in Hell.

I'm not sure. I'm not religious but grew up with a catholic father and a protestant mother. So, I suppose my idea is one of the traditional views?
Either, we go to paradise (heaven) where everything is perfect
Or we just start our lifes again as something else.
Its strange though, theres no way of predicting what will happen. No one will know but we'll all go wherever it is in the end.

I think life is Hell at times sometimes Heaven I'm a Heaven + Hell = Earth type of person as much as I would want there to be a better place after death I just don't believe in it I wish but that is just wishful thinking on my part I kind of agree with what you said even though I think what happens after death is that we get recycled on the Earth first then go back to the universe and or multiverse or omniverse meaning consciousness is dead, subconscious is dead, and unconsciousness is also dead it all goes away but it all goes back to nature.

Simply nothing...not good, not bad. I felt this at some point, the closest i can describe it- is to what i was feeling before i was born - nothing. Maybie nature triggers some drugs in your brain before death, but at the very end you go to neither good or bad.
One thing i'm sure of - people can die mentally long before physical death, and i don't make a difference.

It's hard for me to imagine nothing after death... but I think there's nothing. Like when the wind is blowing. You can feel it when it's happening but when it stops, it simply stops. And you don't feel nothing.

Not too sure. Don't want to be "alive'' in an afterlife but I also don't want complete oblivion.

I'd like to believe I'll be connected once again to the people I've loved and lost... But it's okay if that isn't the case. I'm leaning towards eternal sleep and nothingness.

I have no expectations or beliefs. I think this perspective helps me remain focused on my intentions. To leave this life with no knowledge of what to expect on the otherside helps me relax and reminds me of how "over" this existance I truly am.
