How do you effectively slit your wrists?

What is the best method for slitting your wrists?! I don't even care how painful it is btw. I'm just done. Can anyone offer me assistance here? Is there some kind of link?!

i thought to cut radial arteries on my wrists as it's hilariously simple to locate em they're literally pulsating on the surface, used to roughly measure heartbeat etc. couldn't force myself for they border to locomotor nerves and in the case of fail id left with crippled hands. it's up to you anyway i've seen photos of people who successfully died slashing their wrists horizontally, possibly they had damaged radials AFAIK the scenes always had some type of anticoagulant to prevent blood clotting like alcohol, bath tub etc speaking of a cutting instrument. the one image showed a plain paper-cutter near the cadaver, the wound looked very messy like the person sliced the wrist over and over with full force to such extent it looked like halfway to amputation. i think it wouldn't work at all without precautions taken to prevent blood clotting and the forum can provide a ton of examples and cases to prove the method's unreliability. for example lostallhope.com rates cutting in terms of reliability like 1.6%. 2 out of 80

There has to be some way to succeed. Idk friend. I'm ready. I can't trust a single person, they're all lying through their teeth and I really just have no life path. Theres nothing here for me, I'm desperate. I don't have the SN anymore, so I'm kind of out of options. So thx. I'm out.

I'm leaving and I hope people are happy. They'll get over it. They have no problem leaving me behind. So yeah I'm not about to stay just to be used for laughs. People have shown me that they care on very limited condition. Aka THEY DON'T. I'll try until I succeed. Some things aren't meant to be and my shit show life is one of them. This is my best bet. I always thought maybe my anorexia/bulimia would kill me and it almost did. But I don't have time to wait around for a bus I should have caught YEARS AGO.

I did try it, and even though I don't care about the pain, fighting with your SI can be difficult, 'cause to self inflict that pain (I mean, when you know you can get serious injuries if you don't cut well) is hard.

I really think that there are better methods, more reliables than slitting your wrists. Jumping form a high place is the one that I consider the best. I mean, personally, of course. More than 80 meters are letal and if you're not afraid of heights is okey.

From what I read it's not really worth thinking about this method if one wishes to ctb, it sounds more like a self harm method, it's very unreliable and will just lead to more suffering.

It can be done but there isn't a good success rate. I am thinking of trying the popliteal artery instead

Hypothetically speaking, loading up with blood thinners previously (aspirin if only otc meds are obtainable) and cutting the Femoral arteries whilst in a hot bath would probably have a better chance of proving fatal.
Like other posters, I'd not recommend this method at all, sorry to seem unhelpfull.
