Discussion How do you cover the requisites for living?

Do you work? If so, doing what, and does it provide enough? If not - and that's where I'm extra interested, how do you secure your food, shelter, and whatever else you need to live?

I just took a leave from a weak-ass job I've been doing for a year because I have less than no interest in it and while it sometimes distracted me enough, often it made me feel worse overall. I have some savings to live on now and have just started working on a certification I hope I can keep up with and will lead to something better down the line.
