Help How do u guys get the guts to go through with hanging?

So I just tried out hanging myself and idk why but I felt kinda ashamed and stupid during it. The kind of ashamed u feel when u have a presentation in front of people but stumble over your own feet while getting to the front of the class, for example.

Anyway, I hung there for a sec and realized I couldn't breathe and I couldn't go through w it so I probably did it wrong....any tips about hanging yourself from a doorknob with a belt?

Sooooo this is embarrassing to post, but I rlly wanted to know if this belt was the right choice. I remember it cutting off blood flow last time but didn't get the desired result this time, so I think I might've forgotten how to do it in the meantime....so embarrassing

You should try to use a rope instead. Experts claim that BDSM rope is the best choice. Wires are efficient but they hurt pretty badly too. Remember to lubricate your ligature with soap before you begin the end. I wish you more luck next time!

Thx for the tip, why should I soap it? And how do u hang ursekf properly if u want to use a towel, isn't that too thick?

To lube the rope, makes it tighten faster. Look at the partial hanging megathread. It will tell you a lot of things.

If you're using a belt, what do you attach it to? I saw about how Robin Williams used a belt and now that youve mentioned it...I tried it in my room last night but I mean I could only apply pressure by just hanging on with my hand? How do you do it with such a short thing?

I still can't visualize this lol how do you even tie the belt to the doorknob?? Then you are like sitting almost laying on the floor?

There's a hanging mega thread about partial suspesion, I think that's what you're trying to achieve. Struggling to breath is a symptom of compressing the jugular instead of the carotid vein, If I'm not wrong? I don't think that belt is strong enough imho, it looks too thin. Go with a medium quality leather belt

Yeh I tried to look it up but somehow couldn't find the megathread so idk if it got deleted or smth. As for the belt, I thought it was thin enough since I read that if it's too thick it won't be able to do the job right. Guess I have to find a middle ground ig, thanks th

Yeh I'm sort of sitting on the floor. Also the belt isn't tied but hangs of the doorknob, it rlly works cuz I tried it before when bi remembered how to do it right and it worked

Forgive my ignorance, but how can you hang if you're nearly touching the ground? If you end up slipping, and falling to the ground, it wouldn't work right?

I'm touching the ground when crouching down, not when I'm sitting underneath it
