I don't feel like I'm ever going to die despite seeing others die. That mentality is what makes ctb hard. Ctb feels unnatural but it's just another kind of death.

When I was younger, death was for old people and nothing for me to worry about. But death can happen to anyone. I've almost died numerous times in my life but I brush it off like it's nothing because I didn't die.

"All that is real is real in a moment, which is a succession of moments. Anything that is true is true of the present moment. Not only is time real, but everything that is real is situated in time. Nothing exists timelessly." --Lee Smolin

"The objective world simply is, it does not happen. Only to the gaze of my consciousness, crawling upward along the life line of my body, does a section of this world come to life as a fleeting image in space which continuously changes in time." --Hermann Weyl

Make all necessary preparations for your ctb method so that all that is left is the decision to do it and You vs Survival Instinct. I believe it'll make it more real and much closer.
