I'm using some opioid medications. To my knowledge, it wouldn't be a good idea to try to overdosing with them. There is a lot of risks and might not be as deadly as we actually want it to be in this case.

For opioids they are respiratory depressant but they aren't guaranteed to knock you out. You might end up being unable to move for several hours as @FromGermany said.
Also there is constipation and if you are 'saved' you might end up with long lasting damages to your nerves. Might not be common, but it happens.
I don't know how much would be a lethal dosage, but I guess you would need a lot.
