Heroin overdose: Is it even safely possible?

So far I have heard mixed things about heroin overdosing.

To me it sounds like a very peaceful and quick death, especially for users not used to opioids.

However, other sources state that it is almost impossible to really die while overdosing, and there is even one user on this forum that survived a fairly large dose in combination with benzos and alcohol. As I do not want to do anything wrong: What is now the conclusion on this?

Is it possible? Or should I look for other opioids? Access via darknet is no problem (I assume) and money also not.

If you chose a darknet vendor with product that is vetted, and order 2g+ it should be more than adequate. Take an antihistamine an hour or two beforehand to potentiate the lethality. People tend to survive when the gear is cut, so it's especially important to check the reliability of the seller. And definitely IV it!

Yes is it possible, why not?.
Important matter is the purity, after quantity and finally, administration way, might be IV. A good technique.
you can try others opiods, be aware most important thing uses to be the quantity and tolerance yourself.

The issue is mostly one of purity. With illegal drugs, there's no good way to know for sure what the purity is, which is why you get tens of thousands of people accidentally dying from an OD every year, and occasional reports of people trying to die by OD and surviving.

Like @Rocksandsand said, getting a large quantity of pure stuff from a reputable darknet vendor is a good way to be confident about purity, and IV injection is the best way to get it into your system fast (and not worry about throwing it up). Ensuring you know how to inject something into a proper sized vein (and can find one on your body) seems like another good step.

The issue with drinking a substance that has to hit the bloodstream from the stomach is that it is passed through the liver first, so the bulk of it is metabolised and never gets to the blood to flow to the brain and suppress your respiratory system

You can avoid this by either using it as an enema or injecting it

What about of I have large amounts like multiple grams. I've never injected nor done an enema....
Or can I somehow inhibit the liver metabolism with a known enzyme inhibitor? Like grapefruit does for some meds?

@eve2004 I've written an IV Megathread in injection, which I would recommend for this method. The oral bioavailability of heroin when ingested is apparently 35%, meaning that you would need to ingest 6g+ of pure heroin. That 35% is apparently highly variable though. I strongly suggest the IV path. It's not hard to learn at all and is much more reliable. Heroin is also known to induce vomiting which isn't great for our purpose here.
I have not heard of any enzyme inhibitor, and I suspect one doesn't exist, otherwise heroin users would have it in circulation because it would mean not having to get needles
