Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The former "rate your suicidal thoughts thread was deleted after the NYT story. I never understood why exactly. Maybe it can cause a bad press. But I think there are way more controversial threads than this.

I am bipolar and my psychiatrist recommended me a mood diary. I make it now for roundabout 1,5 years. It helps me to assess in which state my mood currently is. This helps to reflect about my mind and which steps are now important (for example emergency medication). I try to be self-conscious. In general this forum is a great help for me when I get feedback if I sound for example paranoid. In the past this really helped me to cope and to stay somewhat stable.

For me the thread in the title is like a mood diary for me. A benefit of such a mood diary is the fact that it shows you it can get better. That there are nuances how you feel. I am now suicidal for roundabout a decade. (with little breaks) It helps to see that my suicidality can decrease over time. I know it will likely not vanish and accompany me. But this is something that helps me to stay alive at least for the moment.

when i don't try to track my mood or suicidiality, time tends to become very vague and tend to dissociate from it. all the events blend together. It feels like a long blurry corridor of random events until death.

I also wondered what happened to the old thread. How could people posting about their suffering cause bad press. That does not make sense. It is good that you made a new thread. I am pleased for you that the thread helps you. I wish you the best.

People just think that if they get rid of evidence of a problem they solve the problem or just pretend it isn't there. It's just the most common knee jerk reaction when it comes to this kind of stuff.

The best part is when it's not their problem and they dont understand but try to help when they don't really care about helping. They just want to feel like they're helping so they can jerk off to what a good human being they are. Obviously not everyone is like this but it just takes a few people like this to ruin things.

I confirm your realization of how important that thread is. Personally my rate and mood correlate with my triggers. So not only keep you tracking your mood but also you triggers. I could post twice or three time on that
Thread in the same day. I know what are rhe emotions triggered as well as triggers. The fact that we share this is also cathartic, knowing that people accept your abrupt and unstable temparement which sooth your loneliness even a little. Do no forget life so erratic nd cruel and constantly changing.
