You are right, hemlock is poisonous to humans. I would imagine digesting it will be painful, as your body react to it to get rid of it. There are other plants such as recon beans and deadly night shades which may be deadly to humans if consumed. Still, it might be painful, not just for a short period.

Try his then too: I had the emergency doc out today and he left his stethoscope behind when he left. I was playing with it when he came back to get it. Has been the only high point for a while.

Now is the wrong time of year for hemlock. Seeds maybe available but the leaves and roots have the most toxins. I would need to eat about a pound of seeds to ctb. (Of course I weigh 300 lbs). Late spring is best for poison hemlock or water hemlock death.
I gave a lot of time researching hemlock. It grows here in massive quantities. I was turned off by the amount I would need to eat. I changed my method and am building a slam fire 12 ga. More certain and costs about 2
