  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

I've been looking into hemlock seeds. They're surprisingly cheap on Amazon. Hemlock is apparently able to make you fall asleep when your breathing slows down enough. That sounds like a peaceful way. That's what I'm after the most. A peaceful way to fall asleep and never wake again. Is this viable with enough Hemlock seeds?

I have to look more into it but with any poison from a plant source, the amount of poison isn't consistent. To be certain, you'd have to go well above the approximate lethal dose to ensure it'll work. Also typically the symptoms are gastrointestinal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Just an fyi.

I read about pong pong seeds. The tree grows in se asia and apparently 1 is enough to ctb.

Poison is NOT a peaceful death. A simple Google search shows the symptoms of hemlock poisoning are:
  • Shivering (tremors)
  • Burning sensation in the abdomen
  • Increased salivation
  • Dilated pupils
  • Muscle pain
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Hypertension
  • Tachycardia
  • Paralysis of muscles
  • Lack of coordination in movements
  • Inability to speak
  • Convulsions
  • Unconsciousness
  • Coma
  • Respiratory failure
  • Kidney failure
So, not only will you be in immense pain before you die, but if you live you might not have kidneys left. I would avoid this method.

If you want to know how death from hemlock works, I'll explain the process. When you ingest the plant, the main toxin, coniine, is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream. The first effects include burning in the mouth, nausea, excessive salivation, and abdominal pain. From there, muscle paralysis begins: first the legs, then the arms, and finally the diaphragm, causing the respiratory system to stop. You remain conscious as your body becomes paralyzed because coniine does not induce unconsciousness but allows you to experience every moment until breathing completely ceases. If you're curious about the preparation, the leaves or seeds are collected, crushed to release the alkaloids, and then macerated in warm water. Just a few milligrams are lethal: 6-8 mg per kilogram of body weight. It's a cruel process because, while the poison is effective, there's no sedation, and you experience everything until the end.

I was hoping the respatory issues would be strong enough to help lose consciousness.

I wonder if combining it with opioids (like leftover pills from a past surgery but that aren't enough to ctb on their own) would ease the process.
