my name is Kayla, I'm a former Israeli solider and current Israeli police officer. I served four years and have horrible PTSD as a result, I was a combat medic. What are the best methods to CTB here?

I'm ready to go

I like the "n" method but don't know how to find it. I take suspect to hospital everyday but if n is in back of ambulance I could take from there

I highly doubt that Nembutal would be kept in the back of an ambulance - but I think there are some reliable sources of getting n available here on ss - maybe check out the n megathread?

they might keep some around, for seizures. but yeah, probably not a lot and maybe tricky to find, and also would recommend against taking enough to make them run out in case they need it. for the above reason. it really is more of a veterinary thing. and there is also the source mentioned on this website.

up to you.

I heard that defecting to Palestine and then trying to walk back across will get you a quick death. Or beaten. IDK, don't take my suggestions.

You have firearms training. Isn't that an option?

Not sure if using a gun is a good option for someone with combat PTSD.

@SuicidalSolider, I expect the security situation in Israel may complicate matters, but are there welding supply stores near your location? If so, using an exit bag (eb) with inert gas (nitrogen, argon, and helium are common for welding) would be a peaceful way to ctb. I'm planning to use eb/N2, myself, even though I own guns that could do the job just as well. The apparatus is a bit fussy to assemble, but if you've worked with medical gasses it shouldn't be anything you don't understand. (I was an EMT here in the US; with that knowledge, the apparatus is easy to assemble.)

Maybe this is not the answer that you are expecting but have you considered shifting your career? It might help if you are away from stressful situations.

I have to agree: this might be a good first choice.

How easy would it be for you to acquire a small --22cf or 40cf-- cylinder of compressed nitrogen or argon, from a welding supply store, and a regulator/flowmeter? If that gas cylinder is available, an exit bag is easy to build, and the method is very peaceful.
This is the only job I know
Would you consider leaving Israel? Good EMS personnel are in high demand, and while I'm not worldly by any means, I can pretty much promise that most of the rest of the world has a lower-stress EMS working environment than in Israel. That might open doors into a new field entirely.

And I don't mean to be pushy, but having worked EMS, and felt the stresses, I want to help out a fellow first responder. It can be a hellish job even in a rural area like I was in. It almost ate me, and if we here can help pull you out of the jaws, so much the better. I wasn't a lifer, and I was in it for the firefighting rather than the EMS, but I learned that the sort of people who make careers in EMS are too good, too kind, too caring to let slide away without reaching out a hand toward them.

I am sure they have fentanyl. Take it if you can better liquid or crystal fentanyl. You can inject it or rubb inside your gums 2mg kills half of the people (ld50). It's very effectiv and peacefull.

N or inert gas are the best methods (almost 100% success rate and no pain). Though, it might be extremely hard to get N past through customs in Israeli. Best wishes for you and *hugs*. Welcome to our forum

I'm considering shallow water blackout. It seems simple and less distressing than drowning might otherwise be. Also, I don't know if you picked up scuba training in your time in the military but there are some options there.

Yes, I'd say that takes swb off the list of options. Yikes. I'm really sorry. I'm glad he's an ex, and not a current.
