I have some serious medical issues and I cannot wait much longer to go. I am deeply concerned for both of my sons, either death or another stroke will put my son on the streets...He uses a wheelchair. He cannot bend or use his back to turn. I put on his socks when he goes out, make sure groceries are on the counter so that he can reach them, get things from the fridge when asked. I do all the housework, get the mail and groceries, do the laundry, etc. He will not survive on the streets, and no one will intervene on his behalf. I live in Canada, and no...there is no one to turn to for help. I have tried, as has he, for several years now to see if there is any way I can assure his existence after I am gone. There isn't. It is going to cost hundreds of dollars to get his wheelchair fixed, and the only way we can pay for it is to go hungry for a month. It is absolutely essential though, and must be done. I am fresh out of ideas. A room mate is unlikely due to the care he requires, and the money which will be used for the wheelchair will come out of the grocery money and the little bit of extra for him to have at least one month of my share of the rent. If anyone has any ideas...please let me know. Thank you.
