Help Help understanding acronyms

Hi everyone I made this account to ask this because I am so confused. I keep seeing people saying they got SN "from IC", and when trying to post this I saw other posts asking for sources, but just asking for the acronyms. I do not know these acronyms or websites, and I don't see any info listed here (Im sorry I can't seem to figure out if there is a search feature either). Please please please tell me what IC stands for, or how I can learn the acronyms used for sources of SN. Ive been trying to find info for hours now

Most people here avoid naming full sources outright to keep bad faith actors like media or pro lifers from finding and targeting them. It's about protecting the spaces that exist.

There's a thread somewhere with acronym explanations, but I can't find it at the moment.

Your best bet is to use a certain privacy focused search engine (not Google or Bing). You'll have better luck there. I know that's vague, but it's about keeping people safe.

Searching normally in your browser
What happens is that lately many countries or distributors have restricted purchases because of the amount of CTB that there is
Also, depending on the country where you are it can be easier or more difficult to get it
So there is no "official distributor". In the forum they can give you more ideas and resources but my answer is this: Searching in your browser (preferably one that has a private VPN or an incognito tab)

My issue is that people are very frequently referencing these acronyms as sources, and when I search on Google I find many many immediate hits. Im wondering why the need for hidden acronym sources if the product pops up on google search instantly. Im concerned that these are scams of some kind or that there is a very good reason that people are using these sources that Im unaware of. I can't afford to waste any money on a dud.

Who says it does? You can't know if what pops up on Google search using the acronyms you find here are the same suppliers being talked about here. And you don't even seem to have the search function here yet, or do you? You need more postings here before the search function becomes available to you. You need more info than just acronyms to ensure that you find the correct sources talked about here. And IC is defunct, anyway, so that wouldn't help you even if you found the (right) IC.

Think of it as a social network
On YT they use a lot of acronyms or change letters for numbers to avoid bans
For example: dRugZ (everyone knows what it means but it is just a precaution)
