I 100% believe that every single person goes to heaven. Whether they are athiest, muslim, christian, gay, black, trans etc. Heaven is supposed to be paradise. I keep thinking that what even is the point of trying to become happier, to be a better person, if we have eternity. I know my mom and dad will hurt, but what is the pain of 50 years if we have forever together. Why do i have to continue the pain of life if i can just be happy with God? Though I would feel like a coward. Is that why people who believe in an afterlife don't just kill them selves? Is it because they don't want people to think they are cowards? Idk thoughts on whatever shit i wrote.

What about Paedophiles, rapists, serial killers and war criminals? Do they all go to heaven too?

I'm not trying to step on your faith, I'm just wondering how you rationalise it all.

Yeah, quite a few threads. But I think in the end, I love everyone equally means I can't be bothered with moral issues. My favourite stance is from Sam Vimes: I'm not racist, he says, I hate all of you buggers equally.

Yea I do. And I know a lot of people will have a problem with that, but humanity is corrupt. No person is completely good or evil. No matter what you do, your past, mental status, and environment make you who you are. I 100% believe that God takes that into consideration and forgives everyone no matter what they did. And i think once you get to heaven you realize that what you did was wrong, and you are better. God heals everybody's mind I think.

I hope we go to the astral plane... no God, no connection to anyone or anything... just the natural, transcendental universe and the variety of discarnate spirits who inhabit it.

Also, choosing to die takes courage, no? You're tackling the world's greatest mystery head on, while most just want to distract themselves from it as long as possible. In the end, we do what feels natural at any given moment.

I mean kind of. I don't think God really has real morals.

People have the ability to ask questions, alot of questions, but at the same time they have a limited knowledge. So they always try to create fairytales stories to answer their questions but they almost never try to find logical answers. When people saw the sun they taught it has its own god. When they saw the moon they taught it has its own god too.. Etc. For them the word God is the answer of each thing they don't understand and ignore.
The question that made people create the after life idea is '' Where people go? ''.. They just don't want to accept and understand non existence. Why should we believe that we go somewhere?? Death happens when the brain, heart, liver.. Etc stops working. So consciousness that makes you aware of your existence stops because your brain did too.
Death is simply going back to the same state your were in before your existence, which is non existence.

*sorry my English is bad.

Going to heaven regardless is like a free pass to make this hell. I think heaven and hell are only on earth. I think god is love and hate is the devil. I think it's all allegorical and I think if we could see that life might get better. This may be all there is and all that matters is each other

We are in hell right now. Once we leave, that is heaven.

I suppose the questions are "what is consciousness?" and "how can it arise from inanimate material?" I had a theory when I was engaging in out of body experiences that consciousness can't arise from inanimate material unless the fabric of reality is fundamentally consciousness. In that sense an afterlife is probable.

ı like sleep and hate waking up so much that nothingness must be heaven to me.
Any heaven apart from this is meaningless and boring.

I want to die and stay that way, I don't want to be floating around with wings! I also have a fear that I'll kill my self and still have this pain!
I do hope rainbow bridge exists though as all the animal go there.

Dead is dead no matter what. I really believe that everyone will be at their most euphoric state, no pain, no depression, no anxiety. If that is impossible for someone, and they still have pain, I don't think God wouldn't allow it to continue. If someone is only without pain when they are not existing, I'm sure it will become a reality. Idk where the wings come from, tho it would be dope if i had wings.

I really hope so, I hope my Mom and brother are pain free and enjoying themselves.
I will say this though if God wouldn't allow Pain to continue in death why does he let is suffer while we are alive?

Things are soo simple my friend we don't have to complicate them. You think after your death you will wake up in another world remembering who you are and every single memory you have in this world? That's just not logic.
Consciousness itself is just a theory. The brain is like a memory card you put informations in it and those informations affect how you live and think.
There is no single reason to wake up in another world after your death.
Also understanding the reason why we exist in this planet and not others helps understanding that we are not here for a reason.

Fair enough. At this point I prefer non-existence over spiritual continuity anyway.

My view on heaven comes from both my mom, and some other things i picked up on in christianity. Ik most people wouldn't agree, but i really am not trying to tell other people what to believe, and I don't want people telling me what to believe. It wasn't my goal.

Yeah the logical inconsistency is believing in a god that is amoral, and expecting him to put everyone in heaven. Why wouldn't he put everyone in hell?

One thing I loved about my partner was that they were brave enough to actually tackle moral questions and have a firm stance, and not always politically correct. Too bad they are not brave enough to apply that to their own miserable life.
