During the current record breaking heatwave, I wonder if I could hop in a cab to the airport, fly to LAX airport, rent a car, drive to Death Valley, and just start walking inside with no water. The trick would be avoiding pesky park rangers or other tourists who might want to "save" me.

Probably wouldn't take that long to die in 130+ Fahrenheit heat.

SI gets really high when dealing with heat stroke. It will take longer than expected and be miserable the entire time.

Would recommend a better method OP as this one doesn't have a high success rate.

Best of luck.

i disagree that the success rate will be low but i think that it will just be very painful

if you are committed then you should wear black clothes dont drink water and try to go as far away from roads

you could try to plan your ctb with a mapping software to figure out a spot with the least amount of traffic

ideally a mile or two from major roads should be fine

si will be a real bitch though, i dont know how to fight that

i feel like this would be a very painful way to go. unless you want to endure the pain, i don't suggest this.

That sounds incredibly painful and unpleasant, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm sorry you feel that this is something you'd want to do. Stay safe.

I researched it and appearently drunk people can even die from a heatstroke in winter.

I had a minor heat stroke before and I had the kind of headache that is very migrain-ish and won't let you sleep, I was so nauseaus I struggled to keep water down and I felt cold no matter what I did. I think a more severe one would be really unpleasant.
It made my brain act odd. I layed down under the covers and didn't drink till mom made me.
That, like general dehydration, might have you act really sus and alert people. In a car that might have you put others in danger too.
