Story Hearing the cries of babies and children instantly makes me sad

I don't care if it's for trivial reasons they cry. Just the sound makes me tear up. Yet I have no desire to have children on my own.

The sound of babies or children crying disgusts me for some reason.

They are conscious beings experiencing pain and yet I feel no compassion for them, it's really not their fault though.
