Having Severe GERD and being very ugly.

Im so ugly as if that wasnt enough already to make me want to ctb. But also i have severe GERD so i get extremely unconfortable after every time i eat. The gerd caused tongue thrust which caused an open bite where only 2 bqck teeth touch qnd front teeth pushed forward. I dont know if i have what it takes to ctb. But i really want to die and end this suffering.

I'm sorry that you are going through this. Life is just so unfair. It sounds really awful having to deal with that condition. I know that this life can be unbearable when you are suffering so much. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

I have no idea how you look. But not looking good can often be very much improved with training, make up or surgery. I would suggest really looking into this before you start thinking about not being alive.

Dr. Google says orthodontics and therapy (or appliance) to correct the tongue thrust.

I had a hiatal hernia repair, it's pretty straightforward and fixes the GERD. When the GERD is severe, it will eventually damage the esophagus and cause dysmotility and lead to other problems, so insurance should cover it.

Doesn't work the same for all causes of GERD.

Yeah I would try to establish the root cause of the GERD, you may have a hiatal hernia or require the Nissen fundoplication for instance, depending on what's going on. If nothing else it might be treatable with PPIs or lifestyle changes, but I'm assuming you've tried some of the more basic remedies. Have you not found any relief from whatever your doc initially instructed you to try? This doesn't have to be a life-ending problem.

As for ugliness, I mean, pretty much anyone who lives long enough winds up ugly.
