I've been trying to get to one without much success. I think it's a cool practice and it could help you cope a bit, knowing you are more than phisycal matter and stuff.
as a wake up from a nap i stay around 1 hour awake then i get back to bed, i get in a comfortable position and i don't move, then the most difficult part is not paying attention to my thoughs and stop focusing on it while staying conscious. if you succeed you will suddently have vibration, or hear clicking sound or hear white noise, it will feel very real.
