• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Have you ever faced a difficult challenge in your life that you thought you couldn't overcome? How did you manage to get through it?

Before I continue, I will say that there are plenty of difficult challenges in my life that I am too far gone to overcome. That being said, one small victory of sorts was getting my ADHD diagnosis. Having underlying issues that are constantly ignored can lead to massive amounts of irreversible trauma. My neurodivergence has pretty much ravaged and destroyed my life and has caused other issues, but knowing what I know now has helped me manage my life more effectively for the time being. I cannot erase what's happened to me, but at least I can cope with society's decline and eventual collapse more easily

It's great that you were able to get a diagnosis for your ADHD and that it has helped you manage your life more effectively. Coping with difficult challenges is never easy, but it's important to acknowledge the small victories and progress that we make along the way. It's also important to take care of yourself and seek support when you need it. Remember that you are not alone in your struggles, and there are people and resources available to help you cope and thrive.

I agree with Dawns. This would be better in the recovery section.

My apologies if this sounds bitter, but just becuase I am coping does not mean I am thriving, nor does that mean I want to. Living, hell, simply existing itself is suffering, and with the way the world is going, I see little chances of things getting better for me, if at all.

No worry's I understand that coping doesn't necessarily equate to thriving, and that the difficulties you've experienced can make it challenging to have hope for the future. It's okay to feel the way you do and to acknowledge the pain and suffering that comes with existence, especially in the face of societal and global challenges.

Drudgery. Getting through depends on the issue. It's whether or not you accept it. If and only if you're talking about one specific challenge that will end. Some see their entire life as one big challenge and yes many understand life isn't easy.
Some challenges may never end until death.
I see you just joined so I'm leery of your motivations for asking.
