I broke my elbow when I was 13 years old and had to undergo surgery, since then I have a small "surgical nail" in my elbow.

3 times I believe. 1st is when I punched a window as a child and causing a tear on my hand. (I can't remember anything about my operation however or much of anything else)

2nd is when I got circumcision. (Barbaric, outdated procedure that should be abolished. If a foreskin restoration procedure becomes a reality in my life time,I would honestly want to go for it.)

3rd is when I got appendicitis.

I was sedated but not put to sleep. I didn't experience nothingness, but I did experience what an opiate(Morphine)would feel like.

Just once. I've had to have laser surgery on my left eye to patch up a hole somewhere and prevent impending retinal detachment.

I wasn't able to sit still, considering that there was a glass piece pushing on my eyeball and an awful burning sensation in the back of my eye. And moving my eyes around meant that the surgery went on longer to patch up holes created by heating up the wrong place, meaning that the pain increased, meaning that I moved my eye more, meaning that they had more holes to patch up... you can see where this is going.

Worst part is, retinal detachment can still happen despite a surgery. I think I'm at a greater risk than normal because he couldn't really patch up all the problems that happened because of how much my eye was twitching.

I had a so boring life that I was never operated.

I almost got operated by vertebraes problems but I just had to carry a torture machine for several years and go to every place with it.

Yes. Count backwards from 10. 10, 9, 8... and you're back in the room several hours later feeling mellow until the sedation wears off.

I've gone under general 4 times. Fight with "companion" at 20. Had to get a pin in my ring finger. Wisdom teeth extraction 23. Tonsilectomy (sp) and sinus surgery at 28.

Going under is so fun. I feel giddy with anticipation. What if they can't wake me?!
