Hate that this is the only place I can find any kind of superficial connection and comfort while my real relationships rot

Just think about it that way, if your real relationships cannot offer your comfort and connection then they simply are the superficial ones. People on this site actually care and that makes them worthy of you

Yeah, it sucks, but everyone here more or less understands how you feel. We relate to each other as like-minded people.

Maybe try to find a way to relate to your friends in a very specific manner in the same way its done here. Maybe a friend of yours likes music so you try relating to them with mainly that, and you go from there.
