Has SS been down yesterday evening ? (Wednesday 16th CET)

Yesterday I couldn't access this site around evening time/midnight in Central Europe. it neither worked on firefox, chrome nor TOR Browser.
Did anyone else experience it?
What happend?

I feared the site could be down

It happens sometimes, it just goes down for a bit. People are always kind enough to explain it but I can never remember why.

Yes, I believe it did a few days ago, and during my time on here, it has happened periodically due to upgrades, changes, and other unplanned events. I don't always expect the site to be operational 100% 24/7, but as long as it's stable for the vast majority of the time, then I'm ok with it.
