I'm a little on the heavy side and am worried that my neck fat will prevent me from succeeding. I really can't afford to fail.
This source: http://lostallhope.com/suicide-methods/statistics-most-lethal-methods states that there are failed hangings, but it doesn't specify full or partial hangings.
This. Just don't leave anything to chanceI'm a little on the heavy side and am worried that my neck fat will prevent me from succeeding. I really can't afford to fail.
I had a friend who failed, in that he was found, now hes is in a vegitive state due to lack of oxygen to the brain

Oh my god... if you guys have legally valid wills, make sure to include a statement allowing and requesting to be taken off of life support if you're so unfortunate to be in a coma or vegetative state, some states actually allow it if it's in your (legally valid) will!I had a friend who failed, in that he was found, now hes is in a vegitive state due to lack of oxygen to the brain
@Ali: Did the shoelace torn down?
With a shoe laces?I fail with full suspension. My mistakes, I did not know anything about the method, use a shoelace attached to a roof beam. I lost consciousness in about 10 seconds, when I woke up I was on the floor with my parents trying to revive me.
The nursing home where my wife's dad was in there was a younger guy mid twenties who hung himself and his parents found him and hes in a wheelchair, his eyes are bloodshot and his forehead is tilted up and his body was crunched up in his wheel chair no movement. That's what it looks like when you fail. No controlled movement.I had a friend who failed, in that he was found, now hes is in a vegitive state due to lack of oxygen to the brain

Ooh I see gotcha I understandYes, of bototos. I did not know about the method so it was an impulse and I took what I had.
Get an advanced directive and dnr with a living will. It's cheap and worth itOh my god... if you guys have legally valid wills, make sure to include a statement allowing and requesting to be taken off of life support if you're so unfortunate to be in a coma or vegetative state, some states actually allow it if it's in your (legally valid) will!
Have you considered fighting for your friend to get put out of his misery? Or just putting a pillow over his face and ending his hell? He's essentially trapped in hell forever unless someone does something.I had a friend who failed, in that he was found, now hes is in a vegitive state due to lack of oxygen to the brain

That's just terrifying. I'm already afraid I will end up in such a state with my parents parading me around, left with even worse humiliation and 0 control for the rest of my days. I would have no say.The nursing home where my wife's dad was in there was a younger guy mid twenties who hung himself and his parents found him and hes in a wheelchair, his eyes are bloodshot and his forehead is tilted up and his body was crunched up in his wheel chair no movement. As long as your rope holds and what you tie it to doesn't break I believe within 30 minutes it's done. The knots are important.I'm a little on the heavy side and am worried that my neck fat will prevent me from succeeding. I really can't afford to fail.
