Waiting for Death...

Apparently kills you in 3-5 minutes without any pain or struggling.

Recommended if you've got problems with SI.

All you need is a water body you can submerge your head into after taking deep breaths for one or two minutes (or more if your first attempt doesn't work).

Once you're dizzy you submerge yourself into the water and hold your breath. Due to the high amount of CO2, you will faint and in about three minutes you'll take a last breath that will fill your lungs with water and you simply CTB.

Has been observed even in people who don't have suicidal intentions so you shouldn't have much trouble with it.

Countless times. I would fill a bathtub to the brim with water and do Valsalva manoever on myself repeatedly. It never worked, I always regained consciousness underwater and just jumped out of it coughing and puking. And if I did it more than 3 times in a row the effectiveness and duration of loss of consciousness declined, probably something to do with levels of carbon dioxide in my blood. It sucked.

As @BridgeJumper1994 pointed out, you would probably just regain consciousness underwater. Hyperventilation combined with hanging could be a near-100%-reliable kill move.

I heard about a guy who somehow managed to both hang himself (off a metal radiator bar) and drown himself in the tub. Wasnt pretty for whoever found him a few days later
Tried hanging + hyperventilation as I am unable to properly compress my arteries, and only managed to black out once, and guess what, the rope broke under me. Im shit outta luck

:halo:I don't want to look bad when I'm found expired, not necessarily just for vanity (okay that too)...

but more for whoever ends up finding me I don't want them to be further traumatized seeing my tongue hanging out from hanging or my body bloated from drowning,

I guess I'm running out of options allowing myself to get too concerned about how others feel when they find me...

that's why I want to stick with SN, pills overdose, or dehydration because it will be less upsetting for the police or whoever ends up finding me first. I might just look like a dead smurf i suppose turned all blue....
All dressed up with no place to go, LOL.
I know, silly of me.

I believe the term is shallow water black out- yr right it happens a lot by accident - even with very physically fit people that are trained - swimmers & divers etc. Might be harder to carry out with intent, these things always sound so easy when they occur by accident- that's the catch.

The thing is hiperventilating until you're real dizzy... Everyone might have a different time when that kicks in as we're all different. You should then hold your breath underwater till you black out. Warm water (+20°) would be preferable if in a bathtub as your body would require more oxygen quickening brain damage.

I always held my breath with my head out of the water!
Thanks
But wouldnt cold water be more lethal? As in, risk of a thermal shock and overall you get exhausted quicker. I have a huge thing for drowing myself and I found out I start kicking and trashing way quicker in cold water because keeping my body warm exhausts my oxygen reserves. In warm or hot water I can stay motionless for over 30 seconds

Cold water apparently promotes unconsciousness due to the cold shock response, which actually causes you hyperventilate due to gasping, increasing your CO2 levels, but warm water is still something I would choose because the dying effect is faster.
Hypothermia from cold water delays death.

SN is a good way to CTB too... But unfortunately not everyone will get the drugs to accompany it.
The way you exit this hell is however your choice, and determined by your will:-)
