Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

im in a weird situation where this person has told a mutual friend that they will come back to me, but eventually. but i doubt that that's really true. i really want to believe that they'll come back, and i really want them too, but in my gut i feel like they're not.

can anyone give me advice? has this happened to anyone else?

do you think that i should wait longer? depression is taking over me, i'm loosing interest in my hobbies, i can't do my schooling properly, i don't feel like im in control of my mind or body most of the time and i have a longer list of things that make me feel like it's time but i don't want to type it out.

but i really really don't want to hurt this person. if they really want me to wait, i would. but will they actually come back? i.. i'm struggling with this rn.

(p.s. anyone who has read my posts on this site are probably familiar with me talking about these two people. yes. my mindset and opinions change very rapidly and without reason most of the time. i dont know. help. im drowning in this)

if you can.... move on. Those who want to be with you, they would. Others spoil your life. I hope you are able to find some peace. Sorry to hear you are struggling.

i haven't seen your previous posts, but i have been in that situation, and no, they don't come back. anecdotal statement, but as the person above said those who want you won't leave you. if you can bear to wait yourself, there might come someone or something else that will make life easier. four years later after being told to wait and having a completely different life now, i do feel sad and nostalgic for that person, but honestly that could be part of a reason to keep going. the idea that in another 4 or 40 years the wait will be over (for them to come back or for you to go, that depends). either way, find peace independant of someone who would torture you with a waiting game.
