It depends when you are full-suspending hanging from above ( then it can be really fast and quick and lethal)
As example: Saddam Hussein the Dictator who was hanged in a chamber he was dead in 10 seconds.

Another Painless Method ( require maybe little Investment but it's worth for a painless dead)
