  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

If you've ever seen me, you can probably guess I'm a coward, I've made a few "tonight's the night" threads. However I just wanted to discuss tying a noose to a bridge and jumping off. Decapitation is no problem however I was curious that after SI is done, will it hurt at all and will it kill

(the first one was my last failed attempt and second one when I thought my life without internet and SS might be better! I was totally wrong!!!!!)

Send you lots of hugs and love,

Matt

I believe hanging isn't pleasant and is painful but from what I've seen it's over quick for the majority of people, so at least there's that.
If you actually manage to snap your neck and die though I think that's much quicker and if there's pain it would only be for a split second.
However I know someone who broke their neck a few years ago falling down some stairs and they're just fine now so I guess you can be unlucky too.
