I am using partial suspension. I have one rope tossed over the door, but i made two slip knots on both ends of that single rope. I'm paranoid that when my body starts convulsing I will break the rope. I weigh about 400 pounds, but the package the rope came in said it could support 500lbs. The rope is thick. Will two slipknots around my neck be better in case one slipknot fails? Or will the second knot be inconvienent and somehow get in the way? Both knots are tossed over the top of the door and are evenly positioned on the same side of the door.

Test the rope first. Put your foot in a shoe and put it in the knot and stand on it. If it hold it'll do. I wouldn't think it'd break anyway
