Hanging with extension chord

I've seen it suggested in a few threads. Do you really think an extension chord could provide enough support?

In reading about famous people who have hung themselves I've read of them using a vacuum cleaner cord, a nylon belt, and an exercise resistance band. So it seems like damn near anything can work if you really want to get dead. So far I have not read any confirmed cases of anybody buying the "perfect" rope that was suggested on a suicide forum.
